Not All Sacrifice Is Named by Taylor McLendon. Acrylic, oil marker & copper foil on reclaimed canvas. The statue of Noccalula rendered in weathered bronze-green and copper leaf, head bowed, against near-black.

Some sacrifices are remembered in history books or marked with monuments. Others happen quietly, carried by people whose names may never be known beyond their families and communities.

Not All Sacrifice Is Named honors that quieter kind of devotion: the choices, losses, and acts of care that shape a community, even when they go unrecognized. Its title is a reminder that a sacrifice does not need public recognition to matter.
